If for some reason you or your instructor are not available, simply reject the appointment and we will begin our search again. What documents do I need to take to the Driving Test
You must take your UK driving licence, your theory pass certificate and a car. Most people take their driving instructors cars. We at Driving Test UK can provide an emergency driving instructor with car hire your test. This service is available at all test centre in the London area. You need to apply for a replacement driving licence if you lose yours before your test. This could take up to 15 days to arrive. If you have lost your theory certificate, its not a problem. How many times can I change my practical driving test date
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) allows you to change your practical test 6 times. After the sixth change you must cancel your test and make a new booking if you need to make more changes. This does not cost you anything as your original test fee will be refunded by the DVSA. Once you’ve booked your new test you will need to provide us with your new “Booking Application Reference Number.”
What happen during the Driving Test
There are 5 parts to the driving test: An eyesight test, Show me – Tell me questions, General Driving, Reversing exercise and independent driving. The test is is same in an automatic car and manual car.The driving test will last about 35 to 40 minutes.
How do I cancel my driving test
You can change or cancel your practical driving without loosing you money and get a full refund provided you give the DVSA 3 clear working days notice. if your practical test is on a Friday you would need to cancel your test by the previous Monday. Saturday is counted as a working day. However Sunday and Bank Holidays are excluded.
What is the 10 day rule
You must wait 10 working days between tests. The DVSA working days are Monday to Saturday and excludes Bank Holidays. So for example if you failed on Monday 1st then the earliest weekday driving test you could take would be Monday 15th. If you are prepared to do a weekend test you could legally take a test on Saturday 13th. Most Driving Test Centre in the country do not open on a weekend. The DVSA will charge £13 extra for a weekend test.
